Yoga Practice #5: In the Sivananda Style

A full-length, intermediate yoga class with a different kind of structure! When I visited India, I was introduced to this method of sequencing, which after warming up, proceeds with poses that stimulate each of the chakras—from the top down. Some of the pose variations were new and fun to me too!

Cost: I make these classes freely accessible to all people. Pay what you can, if you can, whenever you can (suggested $5–10) via Venmo or Paypal

Why is the class so long?

I think it’s a shame that online classes (largely) do not deliver a complete “in-studio experience.” I want practitioners to experience a fully balanced practice at the proper pace, with proper breathing technique, time for reflection and time for relaxation. These things are essential (in my view) to an effective practice.
