Yoga Practice #11: A Grounding Practice, for Autumn
This full-length intermediate yoga practice is for for the autumn, the season of the air element (vāyu). It's a time of movement, dryness and coolness—so this practice teaches choices for a more grounded experience. (There’s also a gentle version of this class!)

Q&A: Why is the class so long?
I think it’s a shame that online classes (largely) do not deliver a complete “in-studio experience.” I want practitioners to experience a fully balanced practice at the proper pace, with proper breathing technique, time for reflection and time for relaxation. These things are essential (in my view) to an effective practice.
This shorter, gentler yoga practice provides challenges to build our inner fire! It’s a practice for autumn—the season of the air element (vāyu)—a time of movement, dryness and coolness—so this practice teaches choices for a more grounded experience.
